STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Who we are looking for
A professional with high standards who enjoys working with numbers, as well as people. Honesty and integrity, along with accuracy and analytical skills are key to success in this position.
Responsibilities
Our Staff Accountant is responsible for daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, producing monthly owner statements, reconciling bank statements, monitoring accounts for delinquency, managing multiple spreadsheets, assisting with data management, completion of annual audits and reporting requirements, and complying with internal policies.
Benefits
Olympus Properties provides an hourly pay rate for the Staff Accountant, ranging from $28 to $32 per hour. Full-time employees are eligible for Simple IRA retirement savings plan with employer match, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, fitness club stipend, holiday pay, and paid time off.
Schedule
This position is on-site, full-time with a schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Requirements
A minimum of four years accounting experience and an Associates degree are required. Bachelor’s degree from a four year college is preferred. Prior experience in property management and with AppFolio or similar property management software is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to speak and hear, frequently sit for extended periods of time, requires close visual acuity when working with computers, and occasional lifting of file boxes up to 25 pounds.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities
Our Maintenance Technicians are responsible for routine apartment maintenance for our properties. Routine maintenance includes fixing clogs, changing light bulbs, light cleaning of common areas, repairing locks, small paint or finish jobs, and other light maintenance. Our Maintenance Technicians also perform repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and HVAC. Experience in all areas is not necessary. We are willing to train fast learners who possess a positive attitude and good customer service skills. Our technicians are team-oriented. Not all technicians possess all skills, but we share responsibilities as a team.
Additional responsibilities include daily completion of paperwork, daily travel to various properties, purchasing of supplies and parts, cleaning up after repairs are made, completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner, keeping accurate records, maintaining good resident relations, complying with all internal policies, Fair Housing requirements and all other applicable laws and regulations.

Schedule
This position is full-time with a schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. On-call duties will be assigned on a rotating schedule. On-call requires 24/7 service response.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation (truck preferred) and high school diploma are required. Prior maintenance experience and/or further education (degree or certifications) are preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to speak and hear, requires close visual acuity, frequently required to sit, stand, walk and climb stairs, able to climb ladders, able to crawl through tight spaces, able to lift up to 75 lbs, daily travel via personal vehicle to perform maintenance.
